Family and friends of Jason Chapel:
Saturday morning, I had the pleasure of meeting with a wonderful group of people. The church board gathered in the Family Life Center and enjoyed each other’s company, a few light breakfast items, and prayer. We went around the table and introduced ourselves and gave a short background of the journey which led us to the point where we are.The morning was filled with intention and focus and the business of the church. The meeting concluded with a session of pastoral training and vision casting.Once again, I am proud to be a part of such a team.
Thank you, Brady and Robin Sliman, for a wonderful musical offering during worship.I have never been so impressed by someone’s ability to recognize a need to restart (which I never heard) and then proceed with such grace and confidence.I have hummed that song throughout the day, I cannot wait to hear more.

Family and friends of Jason Chapel:
Our thoughts and prayers go out to the family of Kelly and Phyllis Flannery in the passing of their sister-in-law Pamela.  Pamela and Husband Mike reside in Cincinnati, Ohio.  As details of services come available Kelly and Phyllis will prepare for travel and time with family. Continue to pray for the family during this time.

Dickson county and surrounding school districts have been wrestling with and processing the need to suspend scheduled school activities due to illness.  Last week the decision reached the doors of the Jason Chapel Pre-School.  Our…

I have dreamt about being a part of these stories for years. It is on the shoulders of previous leaders and on their legacy I gratefully serve. There is a picture hanging in my new office which was given me from my mother-in-law on the day of my ordination. It depicts a scene based on Hebrews 12 :1 “Therefore since we are surrounded by such a great cloud of witnesses, let us throw off everything that hinders and the sin that so easily entangles, and let us run with perseverance the race marked out for us.”I could not be where I am this morning without those who have paved the way and served this great church befo…
