Congratulations to Albert and Beth Worley on joining our church family this past Sunday at the end of services.  Beth and Albert are both equipped with a wonderful sense of humor and willingness and desire to serve. I look forward to watching them grow into the life of Jason Chapel.
Saturday afternoon and evening a storm moved down Garners Creek with great speed and energy and unleashed serious winds and damage to our neighboring counties. There were multiple families without electricity and water, for extended periods of time. I think we need to get better at this and will; if you are ever…

Friends and family of Jason Chapel:

Early this year I extended an invitation for our District Superintendent, Dr. Dwight Gunter and his wife Karan to join us for worship at Jason Chapel. My relationship with Dr. Gunter is growing. I personally feel he is doing a wonderful job serving as District Superintendent. The district continues to offer plenty resourcing opportunities for its pastors along with transparency and wonderful communication from district leaders. After service on Sunday we opened our home to Karan, Dwight, Carter, and Benjamin. It was a wonderful time of conversation around the table. Not only was I proud to host them in our home, I was proud for them to visit Jason Chapel.
Sunday afternoon Michelle Greene accompanied our quizzers to Waverly Church of the Nazarene for our second Zone Invitational Quiz meet. Our quizzers continue to work through the book of Genesis and they are working very hard. Here is a recap of how our quizzers did this weekend: Savannah Greene – Gol…

Life around Jason Chapel has and will continue to be affected over the next few days due to the Dickson County Fall Break. I know I sure do love a break when I get one; I hope you are able to enjoy yours. Tonight (Wednesday) we will NOT offer our Wednesday evening meal prior to our Wednesday evening practices. However, we will resume next week and continue the Wednesday evening meal through October.
In the morning hours these past few days we have been greeted by fall-like temperatures and even pops of new color. This is the season when Jennifer is at her happiest. The rain has been a welcomed guest and a reminder of God’s care and attention. I hope you are able to take walks in the evening or early morn…
